• Where Did You Grow Up? Mason City, Iowa
  • Job Title: Document Analyst
  • What I Actually Do At Cockle: I review briefs and appendices to make sure the required sections and documents are included. I then go over the brief or appendix with the customer, and discuss any questions or concerns regarding their petition. I also specialize in the Seventh and DC Circuits.
  • Time At Cockle: 5 months
  • Education: I studied political science and international affairs at the University of Northern Iowa (Go Panthers!) and earned my law degree from Creighton University. (Go Jays!)
  • My First Job: Working as a cashier at Walmart. Working in retail during the holidays taught me the true meaning of patience.
  • Something My Co-workers Don’t Know About Me: I’ve shaken hands with President Obama – twice (before he was president). We’re basically best friends now.
  • My Favorite Part About Working At Cockle: My coworkers! Our office is full of friendly, helpful staff. I also enjoy the variety of people that I talk to every day, and being able to help them through the process of preparing a rule-compliant brief.
  • What You Are Able To Offer Cockle’s Clients: I like to think I’m a friendly “face” to the customer. I try to make sure the customer feels like they’re in good hands, and if I don’t know the answer to a question or concern they have, I do my best to find one.
  • What Do You Do On A Typical Day Off? I like running outdoors, recovering from runs with junk food, traveling, reading, playing video games (I’m kind of a secret gamer), and seeing my family and friends.
  • Dogs Or Cats? Dogs
