Time In Position: 3 and ½ years.

Education: JD from Creighton University, BS from Colorado State University.

 My First Job: Dishwasher.

  • Something Your Bosses Don’t Know About You: I can’t stand the feel of paper napkins.
  • My Favorite Part About Working At Cockle: Helping pro se litigants work their way through an otherwise overwhelming process.  It’s gratifying seeing someone who has fought an uphill battle for years finally exhale, knowing they’ve presented their case to the best of their abilities.
  • What Have You Discovered About The Supreme Court? Before starting at Cockle, I didn’t appreciate the level of detail involved in printing Supreme Court briefs.  You can’t just push a button.  It takes a team of talented individuals to produce booklets worthy of filing with the highest court in the country.
  • What You Are Able To Offer Cockle’s Clients: A wealth of experience.  Malcolm Gladwell says that you can perfect your craft with 10,000 hours of practice.  I’m diligently working on hour 35,014.
  • What Do You Do On A Typical Day Off? Mow the yard and watch the baby.
  • Dogs Or Cats? Well, you can’t get eight cats to pull a sled through snow.
